It provides a better fit for some women who may have a shortened vaginal vault. This pessary is made from high quality medical grade silicone and is for single patient use. The use of silicone makes the pessary flexible, easier to insert and more forgiving when in position. Your health professional will assist you with working out the right type of pessary and size required. If the pessary becomes discoloured or odorous the pessary should be replaced. The pessary should be replaced after 12 months.
