Description
The ProFem Inflatable Donut pessary can be used to relieve the symptoms of a mild second or third degree prolapse in combination with a cystocele or rectocele. To minimise discomfort during the procedure it can be deflated for insertion and then inflated in-situ. The Inflatable Donut can be deflated at times to rest the general area where it is being used. This pessary is made from high quality medical grade silicone and is for single patient use. The use of silicone makes the pessary flexible, easier to insert and more forgiving when in position. Your health professional will assist you with working out the right type of pessary and size required. If the pessary becomes discoloured or odorous the pessary should be replaced. The pessary should be replaced after 12 months.
